Forced Air Furnaces
I service and also replace all brands and types of forced air heating equipment.  In the event of a heating repair to a system, I thoroughly educate the customer why I am replacing a part, or what repair needs happen for their system to be safe and efficient.  Quite often, it is much more advantageous to replace a furnace due to the savings of a higher efficiency system.  I prefer to install Goodman and Amana products, due to their lifetime heat exchanger warranty for the homeowner and their ten year parts warranty, which is outstanding.  A standard furnace is 80-85% efficient, usually with a three speed motor.  Other options are a two-stage furnace, which has a lower burner output and fan speed to begin, and steps up to a higher output of gas and blower speed with higher demand for heating.  Another option is a variable speed drive furnace which comes on much more quietly and saves in electricity costs.   

Boiler Systems
I service all makes and types of boiler systems, residentially and in light commercial applications.  There are many more maintenance concerns to address with a boiler heating system than forced air, and it is critical to have a good service technician diagnosing and servicing your boiler.  I repair existing systems and as well can replace boilers with newer, higher efficiency equipment.  I specialize in furnace repair for older systems, especially in the antiquated parts of town, such as Highlands and central Denver.  I provide free estimates for replacement of older equipment for an upgrade that will consume less fuel and reduce our carbon footprint in the world.  Comfy Cave is committed to the well-being of people and the earth as a living being.

In addition to simple repairs and replacement of HVAC equipment, I offer many products that make your home more comfortable to live in.  Statistics say that the air in a typical home may be as much as ten times more polluted than what is outside.  I offer a myriad of products such as humidifiers, electronic air cleaners, exhaust fans, ultraviolet bacteria-destroying filtration systems, etc.  There is a wide range of products as well as prices for air quality products, and I am always very happy to discuss products that may be right for my customer.  A simple higher MERV-rated pleated filter is sometimes enough to bring relief for allergy-sufferers.
